WIYB with Valerie Lim, 25

Known as “dweam” in the digital realm, Valerie blogs about beauty and makeup because of her influences in the pageant circuit. She was crowned Miss Earth in 2009 and managed to place top 16 in the international contest representing Singapore.

When not busy researching on the latest beauty and makeup products, Valerie enjoys a good sleep which she claims to make her look prettier! She has a queer habit of buying faux eyelashes and keeping them. Her current collection consists of at least 150 pairs and she is resisting temptations to buy more.

She loves Jules for being structured and cute, and best of all, she adores the bow detail!

I won this at a company’s Dinner & Dance and it’s been serving me well for almost 2 years and has travelled with me to several countries

• Victoria’s Secret dream angels Angel Mist

I’m such a smell person and I always carry a bottle of fragrance in my bag. Got this in Victoria’s Secret New York when I went there in June. It was on sale!

• iPad

I love my iPad! It’s a mini computer where I keep my appointments and of course play games on it.

• M.A.C satin case

This was meant to keep M.A.C brushes but I use it as a mini pencil case of sorts. Inside I carry a pen, Tide detergent pen and Kiehl’s grapefruit roll-on.

• Blackberry & Apple charger

I always carry my cables just in case.

• Johnson’s baby cologne

What did I tell you about fragrances? This smells so fresh like baby powder. They don’t have it in Singapore and I like how convenient these are. I bought a couple of these in Philippines when I was there for the Miss Earth international pageant.

• Juicy Couture sunglasses

UV is bad for your eyes so I always carry these everywhere I go to protect my eyes. Got them in Juicy Couture New York. It was the first time I had ever walked into a Juicy Couture store and bought anything.

Q) What is one item you’ll never leave home without?

A) Ahh.. This is a tough one. I wouldn’t be able to pick just one item. I definitely can’t live without my Blackberry and my iPad.

A) Umm… I have a belly piercing? Haha.
